on paper, the Caps should be beating a Crosby-less Pens team even with Malkin
But give credit to PIT and their system. and their coaches (pros and minors) for being able to
find these great skating fwds ,

Good change by McLellan putting Draisaitl back at center on the second line and matching him against Getzlaf. Sending RNH and Eberle down to the third line gives them easier match ups too.

Oilers are up 3-0 but that lead might not be safe with how this series has gone.

Wow, I got up, saw that it was 3-0 Edmonton and the next time I check NHL.com it's 3-3, so I've decided I'm going to watch overtime.

How did the Oilers blow such a lead ?

Wow. Three goals in three minutes with the goalie pulled to tie it.

So many people probably wishing they never left.

Just imagine the angry Anaheim fan who drives home with the radio off and goes straight to bed.

Ouch. CBC showed a view that is very clearly goalie interference.

WTF just happened in the EDM/ANH game?!?! 3 goals in 3 minutes for ANH with the goalie pulled. That was unbelievable!

That's a tough call. There was no way it was going to be overturned.

Although if it was the Avs the call would have gone against us.

Nurse was lying on top of Kesler. Kesler did go for a grab of the pads, but Nurse, the idiot, is blatantly giving him the justification to pull that one off.

Did you see the zoomed in view where Kesler is pulling on Talbot's pad?

I guess it's hard to say what you can and can't do while someone is on top of you

It doesn't matter if Nurse is lying on top of him (which I don't think he was, I think he's beside him). Kesler is literally pulling Talbot's pad away from him. That's goaltender interference. He makes no attempt to get up AND is grabbing the goalies equipment.

The goal should not have counted and this is now two games in a row that the Oilers have gotten the short end of the stick from porous officials making porous decisions on a review.

To be honest, I don't blame the refs. They have a small iPad, they're probably on adrenaline as much as the players, and they have 18k fans around them. It took CBC several angles before they caught the pad grab. All reviews should be going to a separate location and done by separate officials.

Yup. The most important people in the review process are watching on the smallest screens.
