Eberle is 8th in ice time among forwards and have 2 points in 11 games. Guess McLellan isn't a fan of the clutchest players in clutch history.

I'm looking forward to next game when Cam Talbot goes Hextall on a Duck.

These goaltender non-calls are likely going to overshadow what is otherwise a great series.

I'm fine with that being a good goal.

I agree, they lost that game themselves. They still allowed two goals with the goalie pulled 30 seconds apart, they will got dominated in OT, they still allowed Anaheim to get that close to the net and cause that much mayhem to allow the third goal, Nurse will was lying on top of Kesler in the crease, and they still got out 64-38.

And Edmonton never even should have scored a third goal. because there should have been an Oiler in the penalty box. Instead they had a 4 on 1 the other way.

That call is definitely one of the worst ones I've seen in awhile.

There are so many bad calls after reviews these days so I don't know what the point of them is.

I think it's ridiculous with offside reviews. So what if a guy is 2 inches offside 20 seconds before a goal? It's very rarely has any kind of impact on the goal itself and the constant reviews just slows down the game. I can live with linesmen getting it wrong once in a while.

Goaltender interference should be easier since it's in direct connection to the goal being scored but I don't know if reviews has made it better. Seems to be more confusion than ever what it is.

Both reviews are ridiculous and bad. Since when did goalies not have to battle it out at all? Some goalies flop on purpose now too.

Because NHL.
Here's my take on it...

If Letestu actually makes the clear instead of completely failing on it, the game ends and you don't need to rely on the NHL to make the call for you. Not only that, but Oilers had two other periods to win it, so it's not like that stupid extra penalty from the scrum call they gave the Blues in game 4.

No, but even with that happening if the right call is made the game likely ends 3-2.

The 2nd OT? Sure
The 1st OT? The Oilers were the better team.

Sure, Letestu should have gotten the puck out but that has nothing to do with the referees blowing an obvious goaltender interference call. It's as if the NHL has now said you're allowed to pull on goaltenders' equipment and hamper them that way so long as you let go just in time for the shot to come. Mind boggling.

For the record, I thought that call on St. Louis was bush league, too. Just so much questionable officiating not only these playoffs but all season long yet the NHL seemingly wants to turn a blind eye and not address it.

Lol what? It absolutely does because you win the game and don't have to rely on the NHL getting it right or wrong. Meaning you control your OWN destiny. And the call itself wasn't that bad, it was Nurses' fault for pushing Kezler into Talbot. Ryan's a punk and whatever happened afterwards is more Darnell's fault than Ryan's as Nurse caused the situation to begin with. You're being too emotional about this for some reason.

If you blow a 3-0 lead in that fashion, the ref could've hurled the puck in the net and you still couldn't blame the refs for losing. Why were the Ducks in that scoring position in the first place, close out the game and it never happens.

Nothing better than seeing Edmonton have huge meltdown. It's going to be tough to come back from that.

Seldom do you see fans of teams or teams complain about calls after a win, it only seems to matter if you lose, which creates an excuse. Good teams overcome bad calls or fluke bounces to win, bottom line.

The series is not over yet, but the Oilers are learning some lessons that will aid their future growth.

That meltdown last night reminded me of the 10-1 beating we took except that was an entire game this was 3 minutes and a playoff game. Same feeling I had in that Montreal meltdown I had in the game last night after Getlzaf scored.

Wanted the Sens and Oilers to win and both are choking after a good start.

Didn't want a Ducks/Pens final but that's what's happening.
