Hinote-McCormick 1-2 punch

I wish they would be someway these 2 guys can play on the same line more.

Even thought the season is so short, these two guys could be like peanut butter and jelly

1-2 punch of agitators and just plain good & speedy forecheckers

Totally loved that Hinote/McCormick vs. Moreau/Cross bout even though it wasn't a great fight.

Seriously. Cross is a pretty big guy himself...does he really need other people fighting his fights for him?

Hinote is just like Messier, Yelle, Ricci, Corbet and so on...he'll be gone soon.

So long as Nikolishin and Hinote stay on the same line, then they can keep McCormick and Hinote together as well. Niko and Hinote put on a great PK tonight culminating with a SH goal. Great chemistry between those two.

The team gelled last night with the way McCormick went after Cross and later when Nikolishin went after Ibister after the hit on Hinote. Add Worrell to this picture down the road and there will be plenty of protection out on the ice.

When healthy...

Konowalchuk - Nikolishin - Hahl
Worrell - Hinote - McCormick

Perfect, no?

That fourth line would cause all hell to break loose.
