Latendress again...

goal 2 assist last night...i guess he's over the whole not making the Canadiens thing...i'm glad he seems to have worked through it and it should be valuable experience if he makes the squad next year

Maybe he is a Damphousse type player, plays so-so hockey 1st half and then totally turns it on in the 2nd half? Damphousse played his whole career like that and even admitted it himself, some players just need to find the groove or in Latendresse's situation I believe the past two years it may be conditioning. Last season he was finally in shape the 2nd half after his injury and this year I believe he went back to junior and packed on some pounds and he maybe finally playing at his game weight.

That's obviously better than a Savage type that turns it on in the first half and goes to bed for the second half.

At least this guy steps up his game when its time to step it up. Thats what you want to see from a guy like latendresse.

It would be be great for the Habs' future if Latendresse lives up to the expectations held for him. If he does, the Bell Centre will rock.
