Whose your Favourite Player so Far??

For me right now I only dislike Audette other then that pretty much the whole team is my favourite, one thing I noticed this year is we are getting very good consistence performance out of our youngster, they're making very few mistakes, opposite of last year when we had many prospects coming over but no one really stood out but this year, I'm really starting to like this team, and best thing about all this is we are still rebuilding.

There's Rivet, Brisebois, Souray at the D. Bulis, Juneau, Ribeiro, Ryder, Hossa are our best forwards. Hossa shows too much signs of brillance, he's incredible. On his goal on the Ribeiro feed, I had the time to say "he will score a goal" before Ribeiro passed the puck. That's saying how well he was doing in front of the net. He (Hossa) has also done a superb pass to Zednik... He shows good stickhandling, he's winning the fights along the board. Well, he's gonna one heck of a good player once he'll be more consistant! As for Ryder, it's almost the same. He can make some nice plays and shoot the puck, plus he hits! Those two (Hossa and Ryder) are very important assets because they have a unique blend of skills/hockey sense/grit/heart/size. The only problem with Hossa is that he's inconsistant, but it will eventually go away and hopefully we'll see the good Hossa on every shifts. Imagine a line like this : Ryder-Koivu-Hossa. That would be awesome. Anyways. Rivet and Brisebois are solid, so is Souray. The return of a healthy RIVET and SOURAY makes a huge impact. Plus Brisebois is playing with passion and calm at the same time, something that makes him a powerful tool on a team. Rivet's wrist is now healed and he's playing so well that it deserve a huge mention. Theodore is solid so far too, but it's been only a few game in his case. Ribeiro has good one on one moves and plays a spectacular shift once per 10 shifts. That's it in his case, but I can't say he hasn't been good, he is good. Actually at which point? Not all that good but good nonetheless. I miss Koivu, because Saku brings so much more in a game. He's enjoyable to watch on all his shifts while our current #1 center, Mike, is invisible on many shifts... So.... I miss Saku for sure. That's is about my thoughts of the start of the season.

My favourite Canadiens are Saku Koivu, Craig Rivet, Stephane Quintal, Andrei Markov and Richard Zednik.

My favourite rookie is Michael Ryder but I am very pleased we have so many other rookies on the team this year - play the kids!

Doi! How could I forget Souray or the 3 Bs - Brisebois, Bulis and Begin?! Anyways, these are the guys that are making it interesting for me so far this season.

Ryder, Markov, Koivu, Hossa and Sourray.

It's crazy how Ryder has become a fan favourite with his heart and determination.

Sourray and Ryder makes a huge difference on this team. They are both huge upgrades over Traverse and Gilmour respectively and are one of the reasons why we are doing well right now. And I'd say that Hossa is more important to the habs than most people think. He's always the first habs to battle for the puck in the corners. He's not always succesful but you can see it's only a matter of time before he puts it all together. His potential is intriguing. We've been crying for size on our top 2 lines for a long time and he just might be a part of the solution. I also miss Koivu a lot.

My favorite player so far is Hossa because he just seems to improve every games wich indicated that his constancy problem may sooner than later be solved!

One player I used to like is Zednik but I just don't like him this season so far. He's holding the puck way too long, always looking to shoot, rarely pass. This is becoming pathethic. Of course, I would not say the same thing if he had 5 goals scored but he only has 2...
