hahaha.. i'd say Poti because in one of his latest posts he said that the Bruins like players from the Boston area (i.e Worcester) and that would get us Leetch back.. also Boston is a closer drive..

Have to add Rachunek's rights and possibly Giroux/Wiseman who both have appeared in many recent proposals.

Don't forget Rucchin.

Also, you should make a poll for which great young player with lots of value the Rangers will get in return for some combination of Hossa/Poti/Rucchin/Giroux/Wiseman/Lampman. Oh, and don't forget Weekes.

Edit: Oops, how could I forget the rights to Rachunek??

Right, I do remember Lampman going to the Cleveland Barons or something. He has proposed him post-injury as well.

For the rights to Rachunek, and a signed Messier jersey, maybe Toronto will......

guys i had a dream just now when i took a nap, that the Rangers made all these ridiculous trades at like 5 AM the night before the deadline. Here are the ones I remember:

some prospect, weekes, jessiman, and montoya for Curtis Joseph

poti and hossa to boston for leetch and boynton

Nylander, Hollweg, and a draft pick for Alfredsson

Roszival, Rucinsky, and the rights to Rachunek for Pavel Kubina

INSANELY WEIRD TRADES!! It was such a realistic dream. I remember saying NO WAY THIS HAS TO BE A DREAM! I CANT BELIEVE IT! But i did believe it because it felt so realistic and me and my friend were going crazy.

It was like JOrtmeyer41 was the GM of every team at once!

LOL

Maybe Hossa and Poti will get traded to the same team and jortemyer41 can go on the (ex.Flyers) board and drive their fans insane with his seriously non-realistic, "hell no!" trade proposals?

(wow, it's been quite a long time since I've posted! Didn't even realize it until now!)

I not sure what you are trying to accomplish w/this thread. To publicly humiliate or to try and embarass JO41 is pretty low, even for HF posters. I would think you all would have something better to do with your time. Yes his trades are a little weird, but that is no reason to dump on the kid. He puts himself on the line and believes what he posts, and furthermore he is a NYR fan, and as such I do not believe he deserves your scorn and ridicule.
Bear with him, don't read his posts if they upset your sensibilities, but please do not continue to publicly bash him. Thanks

most of the posters here, inclusive of klingsor and jorts, have been around for a while and I doubt that the intention was to publically humiliate anyone.

I read the post and saw it as good natured fun.

I would hope that folks are old enough and mature enough to see it for what it was and if not, grow a thicker skin.

geez. We noe not only have board moderators, but humor moderators.

The good thing, nay I say GREAT thing about comedy is that it is in the eye of the beholder. The comment you made about not responding to jorts threads you can employ yourself here.

Personally I thought it was funny.

Keep'em coming

Jorts, I actually like to read your trade proposals because they are not simply

X player for Y player

you actually have your own reasoning as to why the deal should be made and I applaud that, but they are funny.
