Kaspar out?

http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/ho...p-335520c.html

Hopefully, he misses one game and can get back quickly. I guess we can be thankful we aren't Ottawa with their luck at the Olympics but it still isn't great between Kaspar and Jagr.

Man, I hate to see who will be playing defense for us if both Kaspar and Toots are out. Malik, Rozy, Poti, Struds, Pock?...who else? This really emphasizes the fact that we do need another defenseman.

Darius Kasparaitis (fractured toe) was unable to skate yesterday. He expects to play tonight.

Kasper would play with no toes, but as stated, NY needs a D-man.

They'll shoot it up right before the game and he won't feel a thing.

Of course, he won't be able to stand up or skate properly, but ANYTHING to keep Purinton out of the lineup, right?

Pregame show said he's wearing some bigger skates so his swollen toe will fit, was at the AM skate, and should be playing tonight.
