chistov

hey guys - what's the deal w/chistov? is he worth keeping in a fantasy league at this point? i haven't seen enough of the ducks to know what's going on (i.e., is he getting that many scoring chances? is he snake-bitten?). thanks for the insight.

The whole team is snake-bitten right now
and until they get it together any player would be a risky pick
that being said Chistov should get top 6 time with the team this year and score around 40-50 points
but it's hard to say when the whole team will get their act together.

Chistov will be on the 3rd line the entire season unless he gets really hot. There are 7 forwards for sure ahead of him counting Leclerc and maybe 8 because I'd rather have Lupul in the top 6 than Chessy at this point.

Offense will be hard to come by on the 3rd line because Pahlsson isn't good enough on that side of the puck. 30-40 points is more realistic, IMO.

He was BAD against the Sabres and it wouldn't surprise me if Babcock gave him a game off.

Depending if youre league punishes u for a bad +/- Ozo isnt a risky pick. In every game the ducks have scored in he has at least gotten a helper

Yeah I think Chistov will be on the third line for most of the year. Lupul will probably get more points than Chistov this year.

Lupul will fall behind Chistov when Leclerc returns

Chistov needs old Stumpy. They just work so well together.

That's not until January, though.

Season's half over by then.

Chistov needs to get back in his groove.
but honestly... just trade or release him right now... he looks like he's in a stump, and like JL said he needs Stumpy...

i for one would definately not mind seeing him traded. but only if its for a great player, example- Gaborick

simpson or vish plus chistov for gaborick??

the only reason i say simpson instead of vish, is because that would make the payroll a little better. we trade one of the defensmen like we said we needed too. plus we get a better player.

with the way Chistov is playing theres no way we could get Gaborik for him straight up. adding Simpson in there doesnt change much, Minnesota already has veteran physical defensmen.

Chistov and Vish for Gaborik would be interesting...still don't think it would happen.
