Actually, he led the team in assists before his injury.

Goaltending, goaltending, goaltending..!

AWESOME game by PL.....Some key saves at the right times.

I agree with who said that they're getting used to this goalie rotation bit...totally concur. PL is playing great and putting some insane pressue on Denis to shlt or get off the pot.

This was a big win. It ties the franchise record for most ever won on the road. Baby steps right!

All n all I thought it was a solid game. A much better performance than I was anticipating. I was surprised at how much of a hole Letowski really left on this team - on the 3rd line and the PK. I would have liked to have seen Rupp get more time on that 3rd line. Nash had a huge game. One minute I think he's injured and then he comes out and puts on a show like today. Z is on fire. Feds is off but will find his game - he still covers more ice than Z/Nash combined.

Also a big shout out to the D - they collectively played a solid game. A big sigh of relief that Klesla was back in the 3rd - he has really picked up his game, especially physical play.

Good to see these boys get a win tonight. This should set us up well for a solid 3 game home stand coming up.

Player comments..

""It was definitely a lucky goal," Nash said. "I came down and had a different move in mind, but he took that away. I had to adjust, and lost my balance. Lucky enough I stayed up and put it in."

"We played pretty good in the first two games, but didn't get any points," forward Jason Chimera said. "Tonight we came out and played well again. They got a goal to tie it, but we kept working. It was a key win for us."

"We are basically working for next season, the last 20 games it's important for us to find the core chemistry of our team. This organization wants to make the playoffs," said Fedorov, who was traded by Anaheim to Columbus for Beauchemin and Tyler Wright on Nov. 16.

"After the warmup I knew the fans were not going to boo me, that's a good feeling," said Fedorov,

That's a pretty sad statement about where the Jackets were back then. Even if Manny is possibly better than I think. Nice to see them pick it up.

I was jus looking on the box score and noticed this was game 61 for the Jackets. Nash scored the game winner in the shoot-out. #61 wins game 61. Coincidence?
