Goalie Rotation

You know I have to admit at first I wasnt really happy with the rotating thing, but im really starting to like it now. Both Denis and Leclaire seem seem to play their best playing every other game. Anyone think that this will happen next year?

Personnally I think Pascal wins the starting job next year, Denis is the backup. As a backup Denis will get a few more games than a normal backup.

And for all those who will flame me and say that Pascal is too injury prone to be the starter .... keep in mind that Denis has missed more games this year than Pascal has.

edit: my stupid typo last/next

I truly think Denis will be on another team. Makes too much money for a backup goalie. I think.

That's very realistic and I'd have to agree. If Marc isn't traded this week (and it doesn't look like he will be), it will come down to managements trust in Pascal and how much Marc is asking to make.

I think the rotation has been good for Denis. I think Pascal's been pretty consistent this year, but the team has started to play better so that obviously helps his record and his GAA.

I think weíll still see the rotation. Maybe one guy will get a slight edge in games (Iíd still say thatíd be Denis at this point, though it could change between now and next year), but nothing drastic.

Remember - the problem with Pascal isnít his play. It is his health.
Denis brings a durability that Pascal has yet to show.

I donít think Denis is going anywhere until this time next year.

Until then, I like the rotation. This team has been at its best with the rotation. I have no desire to see that mucked with.

Agreed...unless Denis wants too much money in the off-season (or DM gets an insane offer in the next three days), these two will be between the pipes next season.
