does he shoot left or right, i think he is right but espn hckey has him as left?

who are they??

one Q about shooting left/right... if you shoot right, you're a RW and left for LW??

does it matter?

In general being left or right does not matter too much in the offensive end, since the good players mastered the backhand passing.

However, in some scenario in the defensive end it might be useful to have a player who is right handed to check a elite center who is left handed, i mean in term of stick checking ability.

Let me give you some examples, Jere Lehinen, Mike Peca and Kirk Maltby.
