Last game before the deadline. If I were to pick a team who I would want that game to be against it would probably be this one.

so they can potentially expose all of our weaknesses and they'll be fresh in Clarke's mind?

sadly, the trade deadline is damn near meaningless to this team... we need to sort our crap out as a unit... not trade is going to fix that problem.

Tell that to Colorado and New Jersey before they got Claude Lemieux. A guy like Wes Walz would do wonders, as would tkachuk and/or Recchi. We are missing a middle line here who can put up numbers.

We just need to play with more fire. I just don't see a close game here, I hope I'm wrong.

We always play great games with Philly....maybe Weight will actually do something tonight...

And Cole has a neck injury, not an arm injury

our problems are much deeper than any line... our problems are team play... special teams... PK... consistent goaltending... you name it.

We should bench Brashear, we won the other night with him out of the lineup

certainly been fun this year... unfortunately we aren't playing nearly as well right now as we were...

maybe we can get up for this one and have a really strong showing... here's to hoping.

It's my birthday and I want either a trade today or a convincing win against the Canes.

It's horrible what happened to Cole, but it helped our chances tonight a little bit.

Didn't we lose to the Isles without Brashear and won with him against Montreal?

Heres to a good game tonight, lots of skating, scoring and hitting.....and NO injuries to either side.

Our PK takes a hit with Stevenson gone. Clarke might be expecting to land Drake or Walz then is my only thoughts on that. But for the immediate future, tonight, the PK will stink even more.

I disagree that it doesnít take a hit as it has been bad all year and he hasnít helped one iota. They are not aggressive enough for me and they ar enot getting it done. I agree though they need to add someone who will help in this dept. Not sure why Hitch hasnít tried some diff combinations as it canít get much worse.
