yup.. agreed..
scratching Lupul made him come back with a goal.. hope that helps with Chistov..
Also, like JShibbley said.. Start Gerber next game.. Jiggy has been playing crappy.. i'm almost 100% certain that some of the shots that Gerber stopped, Jiggy would have let them in..
is it me, or do the Ducks play better with Gerber in the net?
Also, the Ducks did get robbed out of that goal.. that's 2 times the refs on home ice have screwed the Ducks.. first one was letting the Bruins have the offside call instead of the intentional offside penalty that allowed them to get that dam goal to tie it 3-3

The Bruin goal could have been prevented by better defense...this was a clean goal that the ref "lost" the entire section in the back of the chicago end saw it go in,the puck hit the post and deflected off the goalie into the net.

Anaheim could really use a Steve Thomas in the game. It seems like all our forwards are too "nice." We need some vinegar IMO. Either that or we can do what we did tonight and bore America to death.

Whew! I thought I was the only one that thought this was a boring game. This one was worse than my Therapeutic Exercise textbook.

Good goal by Lupul. Better pass by Havelid, wide open net. I swear, did I not say Pahlsson will never again score an NHL goal. He had a wide open net and the puck bounced over his stick.

Nice goal by Simpson: :moon:

Our offense sucks ass.

It's just you...6-11-3 when you have a 1.95 GAA and a .929 S% equals anemic offensive output.

i'm talking about this year, and as Boogs already stated the difference with Gerber in the net compared to jiggy..
Sauer played well..
Lupul seems to be getting more confident which is always good..

He should start on Tuesday. He's clearly on a roll and we need points, and the Rangers are a beatable team.

There's no reason for not starting Gerber while Jiggy gets his head straight for the next little while.

Totally agreed.. maybe this will make jiggy pissed and make him play harder.. either that or he can just sit on his arse collecting that cool 4.3 mil a year.. i knew it was too much..

With that goals against and S% they should be 3-0 in his starts...how are they playing better when Gerber is in net? Their offense would be anemic whether it was Gerber, Giguere or Georges Vezina in net.
