Morency is a moron who changes his opinion constantly

A few weeks ago he was calling Theodore one of the most overated players in sports and such...I remember how he basically said it was Theodore's fault if the Habs didn't go further in 2002 and such...now he's basically saying Montreal fans love to trash their players when they are down and was basically defending Theodore earlier. Make up your mind Morency.

ya i remember that too. he makes these absurd comments and doesnt let his talkers argue with him. he then gets a caller that agrees with him and tells them that he doesnt expect everyone to agree with him.

I completely agree with you...if I had a nickle for every time Morency said that Theo has never done anything for this franchise or accomplished anything as a pro athlete, I'd have a lot of nickles.

lol, it's true, whenever someone phones in and tries to argue against him, he cuts them off repeatedly and tells them they don't know sports.

he seems convinced that montreal will not spend the 9+ million of cap space they will have.

they had a salary of what last season? all but 2.5 million of the cap level? what could possibly make him think that it wont be at least equal to that next year?

The cap will go up. But montreal has a budget. I doubt the team will spend more then 40 millions. And I'm ok with that.....team shouldnt be in the red. And the Theo trade still gives us an extra 3 millions.

They are good for now but in some time when they have to re-sign they're best players it will be hard, look at Miller, Afinogenov, Roy, Kotalik, Brière etc...

i know but what im saying is just because the cap is at 42 - 44 million next season even if the habs spend all 42 million doesnt guarentee us nothing .

back in 2001/ 2002 our pay roll was

$ 41,277,373

2002/2003

$ 41,972,360

remember the quality of those teams for that kind of money .
