They were never going to call him up and he wanted a shot, and I'm guessing he may have had some issues with the Monarchs front office over that. I think Joe's departure was mutual, and in light of that I'm more than a little surprised to see him back. The fans of the minor league club he had been playing with (Hartford Wolf Pack) won't be sad to seem him leave. His heart wasn't into their game. I think the next couple of weeks are going to be interesting having Joe back in the mix, and I don't know yet whether that's "interesting good" or "interesting bad".

With Grebeshkov gone, there's more PP time available. That's one of the reasons Joe left but certainly not the only reason.
