I would give Abbey a shot, the Habs don't need to overwork either of their goalies now

This was a battle of goaltenders. Lundqvist stoned us several times. Zednik was on fire. What a time for him to crank it up. Koivu played a hell of a game too. And how about Plekanec? Wow. Yes, Huet saved us, but Lundqvist was equal to the task except for one goal. Habs were better through two periods, but the Rags poured it on in the 3rd. Huet is unbelievable. 5 shutouts...amazing. Now let's beat the Bolts and go for 6th spot. New Jersey, you're next in our sites. Go Habs go.

No. You ride the hot hand. Huet will be fine. Until the Habs have solidified their playoff position I can't see Gainey putting Aebischer in unless it's a back to back game situation.

You are probably right but remember how Huet looked against the Laffs the last time out... They have two quality goalies no need to overwork either.....

I agree. I honestly though Lundqvist would get second star, not Rivet.

This was a great night to a otherwise sad day for the Habs and their fans. The banner ceremony and tribute to "Boom Boom" was first class as only the Habs can do to honour one of their own and a great well played game tonight to pull out a win and moved into 7th place to top it off.Boy am I a proud Habs fan right now.

Way to go boys, and great celebration for Boom Boom. I know he's looking down smiling at us now.

Let's go Habs and gets us some playoff points!

great game, really well played. Both goalies were outstanding, I thought Lundqvist was never going to let one in. Also thought Perezhogin seemed to be skating harder, Pleks had a strong game and Zednik lately has been working hard. Sucks about Markov though.

Huet Huet Huet!!!

Maybe he's pissed off about that Conan O'Brien "Live in Finland" special.

Koivu and Ryder stand at the side of the net because that is a set play by the coaching staff. It just happened that the goalie stacked the pads across before Koivu had a chance to re-act and shoot, he was already in motion for the pass.

Markov suffered back spasms. I hope it doesn't keep him out of action.

I agree that Plekanec played a fine game. He was the best Habs center.

The remaining Dmen really stepped up when Markov had to leave.

The "old" Zednik has replaced the imposter we've been watching for most of the season.

Well actually Thomas with the Habs could certainly do what Huet's doing.... Thomas plays well every night but his team just lets him dry.
