Thank you for Huet.

I don't know if you guys have noticed but Huet is setting Hab'land on fire. His goaltending is downright spectacular.

This is one of those deals that both teams win. I'm reading that Garon is doing great for your team and so is Huet for us.

Sounds good to me. Huet is a real nice guy and I'm glad he landed on his feet for the Habs.

We also try to help you by sending Theo to the Av's. Tell your forwards that Theo goes down faster then a New York hooker. Just shoot high......and count goals.

Who would have thought that - potentially - two top-10ish goaltenders were swapped in that Garon-Huet exchange?

Who knew?? But at the end of the day, Garon will be LA's #1 and Aebisher, not Huet, will be the Hab's #1. Don't get me wrong, I wish Huet well. When he's hot, he's hot. I just don't think he's got the goods for a long hot streak.

I always liked Huet when he was here. It used to piss me off when Chechmoneck would get the start over Huet.

Same thing goes for Legacy. I thought he played very well when he was here, but more often then not Storr (If I remember correctly) would get the start.

I was realy disapointed when the habs traded Garon. I felt Theo was going downhill and I always felt confident with Garon in net. I'm happy Huet is turning out great. And I hope Garon becomes as good as I always thought he would be.

I don't think I have to tell anyone on this board how I feel about my boy Huet. He was the man for the job when he was here and now he's the man for the job in Montreal. I was possibly the biggest Huet supporter throughout his Kings tenure. I'm really glad you guys like him there and I'm willing ot bet he's going to be 3 times as good over there as over here.

VIVA EL HUET!!

Maybe, maybe not. I don't agree, though. In fact, I wonder between Huet and Garon, which netminder FL would have considered a better trade candidate for Luongo?

Mmmmm, Huet and Garon would be a deadly goaltending duo. May we interest you Habs fans in a Roenick for Huet trade

If Aeb takes the starting position from Huet then he must be some kind of God in nets. Huet has 5 shutouts in 21 games. Mind you, shutouts are a team accomplishment as much as the goaltender. His goals against is also rising as the Hab's become more disciplined under Gainey.

Do the Hab fans a favour and light up MeMoi (Theo) like a Christmas tree. That puke has tortured us with his endless soap operas while selling us half assed tending. I liked Garon more then Theo and I was hoping Gainey would trade Theo long before Garon. I guess, in the end, things worked out for both teams and MeMoi is out of the picture.

BTW, it's a pleasure to talk to fans that don't automatically hate the Hab's or their fans.

Ehh, I still have some burning hatred from 93...

I mean, couldn't you guys have let us have one?

And I grew up a huge Guy LaFleur fan...mainly because my dad was one but yeah...

What a rollercoaster for the Habs this season. They were at the top of the conference at one point in the season, then dropped like a rock to 9th or 10, started going with Huet and have been on fire in the last half, now up to 7th. I can definitely see why Habs fans are so appreciative of Huet. I can see a lot of babies being born in Quebec with the name Cristobal this year

from what i remember from the 1 season of watching Huet, he defintely has skill...he occasionally had 40 save nights and stole victories in a few games, or kept the Kings afloat in others...but i never considered him a true #1...possibly a 1.5 Goalie....there were times when he would make solid saves, then there were times when he would just be flopping around, or letting in goals which a good goalie would have made....

i'm not saying these things b/c we traded Huet...he's serviceable, but no where near as good as ppl may be thinking....that is unless he improved drastically over the past year
