I want to stab you right now. That is NOT an excuse.

In all fairness, not that it will make any of you feel any better...but Fleury played out of his mind tonight as well as last night and our team as a whole has just played very solid hockey to go along with it. At least you guys aren't alone in your frustration of not beating us,Devils fans were just as upset when they lost last night as well.

I think they really needed to get an impact player at the deadline to get things motivated. Forsberg is "slumping" right now. Obviously a mute point. I think the lines need to stay set and allow chemistry going...cause its not there with Hitchcock shuffling around

I'm wondering...Is there anything going around in the Philly press about Hitchcock's job being in jeopardy? I'm just curious

I'm not looking to start a flame war, I'm looking for facts, and trying to straighten out misconceptions of the game...

No, but it's no secret he's never been one to handle young talent correctly.

one thing is for sure, when he was hired, and things didn't work out it was the players who were going to go. Well, most of them are gone anyways.

If the downward spiral continues and we go out unceremoniously, everyone knows Clarke is not shy to pull the trigger.

You weren't trying to straighten out a ****ing misconception. You posted an incorrect fact about 5 times to rile up Flyers fans here.

Has there been any mention of off-season UFA pickups in Philly?

It's Pittsburgh. I could beat Pittsburgh.
I disagree, despite the Pens having a rough year, it doesn't mean they haven't been competitive. The Pens are a very decent young team under Coach Therrien. They may have the worst overall record, but they are not the worst team in the league, not by a long shot. The Flyers fans should know this more than anyone else, as every game this year between the 2 clubs have been close games.

You can't judge a team solely by it's overall season record. The Pens are...

14-6-3 when scoring the first goal.

11-1-2 when leading after one period.

13-1-2 when leading after two periods.

The Flyers are not the only team to fall to these statistics.

My bad. I was frustrated.

I recognize the Pens have played teams( especially us) tough this year.

all due respect to the pens, they are at the bottom of the standings, regardless of how they play, they are, and when there is a team that is SUPPOSED to be one of the best in the league in a major major division title fight, they HAVE to beat the bottom rung teams....like the pens, sorry, but it is true
