Nice but I noticed this:

Only two players didn’t play a single second of PK time against Calgary: Ferguson, Chimera and Raffi Torres

That would be 3 players.

A good read and team perspective.

As always, thanx Guy.

Guy makes the comment that "Ales Hemsky, who leads the team in scoring with 8 points, only has a pathetic 8 shots in 8 games."

What should be noted is that he has scored twice for a 25% rating, highest on the team.*Maybe Hemsky reads the Shoooot comments on this forum.

Liked how you looked past stats in your "hot" as Dvo HAS played well indeed! I liked the note about Semi - as I think he was arguably our best defender on the night. He was physical - smart with the puck, and he created offense.

Now imagine if he had taken 20 shots in that time and kept the same 25% accuracy?

I know, not a realistic comparison, but he still doesn't shoot enough... that is all that is missing from his awesome season so far.

.
I know what you're saying. I just find that as soon as he gets the puck he slows down and is ALWAYS looking to pass. In the preseason he was dancing around guys and taking them on one-on-one, I just wish he would do that more in the regular season too. He telegraphs the fact that he's going to pass all the time and because he's moving so slowly with the puck he's easy to contain.

He's a great player but not using all of his tools to his advantage yet.

I mentioned the same thing in another thread... I loved the way he closed out last season... watching him was something incredibly special.

This season, he seems to be relying more on his vision than his skills... it would be sick to see him use both.

Then again he is young, and he is getting results... I think we can allow him a little time to grow

I'm sorry, I just caught something on the article that made me laugh.
At the front of the Oilers page, his name read Jarret Stool.

LOL, thanks, I've pointed that one out to Holly now too. I must plead my innocence on that one.
