Can anyone give us updates on prospects?

It would be nice to know how the bruins prospects are doing so far this year. Guys like Stuart, Jonsson, Evseev. If we could get a report on how they are doing it would be great, sure we can look at the stats, but they don't tell the story. Any info would be appreciated.

KPD? Anyone?

Holy Scott Kelman sighting, Batman!

I remember when Kelman was the 5th-rated NA skater for the '99 draft class and Phoenix moved up to take him in the 1st round.

What a bust!

I also noticed that John Cronin and Robert Liscak are also on the Augusta Lynx team along with Peter Hamerlik.

Does anyone here know Czech? Because is Kubista on the Pardubice JUNIOR team again? If he is, then I wouldn't think that this would bode well for his future in the NHL, when he can't even crack the Pardubice senior lineup in his second season after being drafted. 8 PTS in 11 games at the junior level = not impressed in my book. What a disappointment...

I wasn't aware that we had actually signed Matt Hubbauer. Does anyone have a link to the press release?

Russian Prospects

Pavel Frolov is playing in the Torpedo system. He still has alot of developing to do and might get a few shifts here and there on the RSL club this season. But, don't expect to see him make a major contribution to the Super League for another season or two.

Dmitri Utkin is playing for Spartak Moscow in the Upper League. He is having a decent season for Spartak. He is still young and has potential. If he can move up to the first line or get onto the roster of an RSL team he might get some more recognition.

GP-16 G-3 A-3 Pts-6 PIM-4

Vladislav Evseev has been playing in the Dynamo system. After playing 21 games with Dynamo's RSL team last year he has been sent down to the farm team to work on his consistency. He can be prone to long stretches of medicre performances.Hopely he can learn to mature a bit while playing for Dynamo-2.

Spongebob has a great thread on Russian Prospects http://hfboards.com/showthread.php?threadid=21263

The Bruins signed Blake Bellefeuille, but released Hubbauer fairly early on in camp... he went to Providence, where he was one of the latter guys to be released from their camp.
