An angry mascot? What would you do? Run around the crowd, taking t-shirts away from people, spill their drinks and cheer for the away team? Don't know if you have a tv show like 'You've been framed' over there, but if you get that on video, you could send it in and get some money for it

Bad news for Bob Gainey, at 175 cm and 240 kg, I'm the one he most closely resembles.

McPhee: drop your whistle, you're playing nets tonight. Bring a case of beer, I don't want you skating back to the bench every third whistle.

Darz : you're hired, in any capacity you so choose. How does eastern caribbean scout sound? As for your salary, whatever suits you is just fine with me.

Naoned citizen : you're in luck, that Lacroix guy is willing to take you (and next time, don't rat out your teammates).

I am off to the caribbean to try and find the next great caribbean hockey player.

I just hope he is in one of those beach side bars.

Yes, I suggest you start with the bars and beaches. We'll also be needing bikini-clad mascots (sorry Aymand), so while you're down there, would you mind checking that out?

I hope one of those bikini-clad mascots is going to be a representative of the Canadiens here in the UK, we could work on finding new Habs fans in this un-mined market (or something). Seeing as im not even big enough to be Mike Ribeiro (to laugh or to cry?) I feel i should do something over here to help the team. Preferably involving one of those bikini-clad mascots.

Isn't 175cm = 5'7 1/2? If so I believe Gainey is taller than that, and 240 kg? Are you sure you don't mean pds?

Yes, you're right. I'm not used to the metric system, so I guess I meant 1750 cm and my height would be 240 kg.

I think at that height, you would have to be known as Grosbilla and you could wander round Toronto knocking buildings down and making the people run for cover. You could have an epic battle with a strange powerful monster called Chara and listen to the world cheer when you win.

As for being hired and keeping my eyes open, is that in regards to potential new Habs fans or the bikini-clad mascot

Just find us some bikini-clad mascots (female, of course) and the fans will take care of themselves, if you know what I mean.

Since I've been named Associate Coach, I think it's probably time I learned something about the game. I guess I'm going to need to watch Coaches Corner from now on.

Velour is OK, but no more imitation fur on the jockstrap, McPhee. Believe it or not, this hurts me more than it hurts you.

Just as an innocent question. No meaning behind this.. Hypothetically, where would one be able to purchase imitation fur jockstraps if one were to desire owning such an acoutrement..?

Hypothetically of course.

You're asking the man who sent me to Al's Food Repair, he'll know.
