I cant read his mind, I just think you will see Abby as starter next year IF he can show the form he is capable of consistently. If not Huet will probably stay starter, it is all up to Abby.

Isn't it equally up to Huet to see if he can show the form he is capable of consistently?

Or are you standing by the conspiracy theory that no matter how good Huet plays, Aebi will be handed the job? Or does Aebi's salary make him 400% the goalie Huet is?

2,100,000 / 0,450,000 = 4,66.

so he's actually 466% the goalie Huet is.

+ Gainey gives 20% more smile when Aebi is in net, so you have to factor that in.

Edit: 20% * 0 = 0

Aebischer has much more experience in the NHL than Huet. Making an insinuation on their comparable salaries meaning anything, just because Thomas and Huet's is meaningful, is wrong.

As for Abby being the starter I believe he was brought here to be the starter so if he plays like a starter he will become the starter. He wasnt brought her to be a backup.

Now Thomas on the other hand is just as old, and has even less NHL experience, so his superior contract compared to Huet's is much more telling to Thomas's vast superiority.

Huet's experience+30% of Thomas's contract-wildone's mental institution bill=30% of the potatoes Aebischer recieved.

I'm a AVS fan and i will never hate this guy, Abby ruled for us and i wish his meny more great games for you guys. He may have had a rough start in MTL but i guess he still didnt get used to the team, if his play in Ottawa is anything to show i think he has confidence in the team infront of him and he will start to shine for you guys!
