What's going on with the lines?

Maybe this is something that should be "stickied", what with all the injuries and juggling of lines/positions. Does anyone have insight on lines for the Nashville game or future events?

They were shook up throughout the Flames game, so there really is no such thing as an educated guess at this point.

The only line combo you could have counted on was the Tkachuk, Demitra and Cajanek line. BUT, Cajanek was injured Friday in Calagary and might miss that game. Mellanby, on the other hand, is expected back so it is very likely that the old Mel, Tkachuk and Demitra line will start. That would leave Drake and Heerema on Weights line and Sejna and probably Rycroft flanking Mayers. Odds are the Ryan Johnson, Danton Low combo doesn't get split up.

To recap
Walt Demitra Mellanby
Heerema Weight Drake
Sejna Mayers Rycroft
Danton Johnson Low

Many years ago there was a player on the Rangers named Walt Tkachuk and Keith got "Walt" as a nickname.

Yes it does Tkachukmis dinged up a bit but he is playing and playing well. Mellanby will return tommorow.

At least for now, but I haven't found that line to be all that imposing either. Not sure what context you're shooting for there, but outside of Johnson, I don't think either Danton or Low has played so well that they are above being scratched. Danton has shown the same offensive ability as Nash had so far and Low still takes some dumb penalties. Neither are above reproach in my book. Of course, there's probably something a little sinister in me that wants to see how Danton reacts to being scratched for the first time here.
