I suggest we all pm Jaydee before posting an opinion so we know what is right to post to be a REAL habs fan?

Negative attitude twords ur team means u dont have confidence in them, which means you shouldnt be cheering for them.

If you cant say something positive, dont say nething at all.

even if they are up against a better team, all you gotta say is, it will be tough, but i think we can put up a fight, much better then saying.. Oh great, another loss

saying " ..lose again" isnt criticism...its clearly putting ur team down, which is something a fan wouldnt do, real fans always look for the UPSIDE of ALL situations

Read my custom title... Realism... We play vs the #1 team in the league and without our 1st dman and you guys think we'll get the win ? Be realistic here.

Funny you don't phrase it that way in the "Ryder Playing Injured" thread...

Anyway I'm just nitpicking. Hey I'm hab fan yes, and I'll cheer for them tomorrow, but we haven't done well against Carolina at all lately and we don't have our number 1 d-man, it's tough to be optimistic. Expecting a win is too much if you ask me.

I don't think you understand...you are not here to moderate anyone. Share your thoughts of the habs, not your rants about what people posts and your own point of view of what is a REAL fan.

Habs sux against Carolina, you can be realistic (Habs losing is) and still, cheer for them to win...which at the end, we all do.

When everything goes wrong, do you just smile back and talks about the positive?

Let's make up a situation, on a 10 games losing streak which ends with a 2-1 Loss, are you happy because they netted one goal? You can.

And I won't be there to tell you to shut up cause you are not a real fan.

Geez seeing you manage the thread and described what you've got to do to be a REAL fan almost made me puked.

habs sucked against Carolina because a cetain someone by the name of Jose Theodore was in nets, noone in that locker room had confidence in him, not even his good friend Ribs.

When you have no confidence in your goaler, you ain't gonna win very many games.

Tommorow a good, hot goalie will be in nets, therefore the players will have the confidence in him.

When players have confidence in a goalie they arent as afraid to make a mistake, knowing the goalie will bail them out more often then not.

you watch, Montreal will pull off a crazy game tommorow night

Now wait a second here. I don't mind if someone criticise the team, as long as it's some constructive criticism. You can't expect everyone to be all positive all the time in here and it would not be normal in my opinion to be. There will some ups and downs for a team and for players in a season, and I don't think there is anything wrong by mentioning it. Sure, some posters can be a little negative sometime and some more than others, but if you don't like it, there is the ignore list function exactly for that.

By the way, let's win this game tomorrow, Markov or not.

Here's my view on this, since I started the thread and possibly this onslaught of negativism :

Receiving bad news and having reduced chances of winning is one thing but predicting a sure loss is another...
In this league, on any given night, any team can beat another as all of you know, so why predict a loss as a fan?

Odds may not be in our favor but it doesn't mean we may not win.
Granted, I may be more mentally ready to accept a loss against Carolina than Pittsburgh but I would never predict, wish, or assume a loss for the Habs.

To all of you who posted positive replies:
Let's get behind our team and HOPE they win tomorrow night!

That article answers some questions...but it also has me more concerned. It says he hurt his back during the olympics.
I guess that explains why he wanst playing the name since the break. But it also means....its not gona go away in 2 days.

Montreal will seriously have to shop for another offensive defenceman this summer. They just can't rely on one guy.
