I know, Like I said above if Snow was in net it would be 5-0 and DP is definetly keeping us in this game

But I hate when DP does that, he has to learn to stop doing that, it is almost never succesful when he goes out to try and play the puck or do his fancy stick handling..

With my new found confidence in dp i found the goal hurting but as said he played great so he is giving them a oppurtuniny to win this game only being down 1-0.

that was a stupid play by The Rick. Honestly, Hossa has excellant stick skills and very good speed. He really should have stayed in the net. Other then that, The Rick is pretty friggin awesome.

This team, dare i say it, looks overmatched. Just doesnt look like they can get much going except for the fast breaks, but they cant seem to finish those.

The Thrashers are putting on a THRASHING. Bad play by Ricky but he has been phenominal otherwise. Gotta keep plugging away and start throwing the body around. I expect Godard to drop the gloves next period.

I thought it wasn't a bad gamble, Hossa had lost the puck in front of him and was going to have disgusting momentum on the shot he would have gotten off, there is very little chance it was gonna be stopped....right there it was stay in the net and probably get scored on or hopefully surprise him with the poke check

dipietro... like this team.... 2 steps forward, one step back.

i say shaw takes the training wheels off and lets these guys go.

if we stay at this pace, we lose 4-0 by playing passively.

let's duke it out in the middle of the ring. if we go down, we go down fighting.

let's give atlanta what they want... a gunslinging shootout... and see who's goalie is left standing in the end.

i know they've got skill, but we've got speed on the wings that their slow D can't handle.

gotta change something up FAST!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope we just saw the best Atlanta had to offer, and it's only 1-0.

Now lets get 3 unanswered goals and my prediction will be correct.

Would be nice to have a working power play sometime, eventually.

Islanders need to come out hitting everything in sight to start the 2nd, finish every check, our playoffs have already started if we're planning on being in the real one.

LETS GET THESE @#$(*#&$#*(&#(*$&#($& COME ONNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

,
Mitch

Hey, if Brodeur goes into a prolonged slump, you never know, there could be another team on our radar...

Atlanta 4 on 2 rush... Hossa to Sutton the defenseman. 2-0 Thrashers.

We need to get the next goal.

Huge goal 2-1.

Lehtonen's right leg pushed it back in. Might end up going to Martinek if it didn't hit Bates.
