Atlanta fans show up late (A pet peeve of mine, as folks show up as late as the beginning of the second period. Game starts @ 7, some folks show up 7:30 or 8.), plus we draw better on Fridays and Saturdays (Unless it's an American Original Six team.).

Yea I could see it has filled up,, and I apologize for comparing your attendance to our attendance, that was undeserving...

First 5 minutes of the third period have slowed considerably... Isles need to take charge and bring it. Atlanta would be happy to slow it down.

YES, ISLES PP. We need this! It was the Yash line that drew the penalty. Another strong shift by them.

What if someone told you 10 days ago Denis Grebeshkov would be the anchor of our PP

Jason Blake needs to think about passing just once...he shoots from the half boards with no one in front of the net on the PP...his shot isn't even close to being good enough to beat a goalie from that range.

Why does Blake shoot the puck into Lehtonen's glove? No screen, easy stop.
I hate Blake.

They didn't put it in the net, but both PP shifts were great there. And then DP comes up with another nice point blank save on Kovy.

We keep playing this hard I have to believe we'll tie it up.

Also, Gervais and Grebs on the first PP unit looked good together. Amazing that they are both playing suddenly in such an important game for us.

Yash got a hooking penalty with 7 min left in the third. Great PK by the Isles, only gave up one shot and DP just missed springing Bates for what would have been an excellent short-handed try.

5 minutes left to tie it up...

Hunter-York-Satan having another strong game. Satan seems to be playing so much better now that he's not with Yashin anymore.

Can't complain about the effort considering everything. Get another chance tomorrow night against the Panthers.

well... we won't be losing any ground on anyone... and still have a game at hand on the thrashers.

sorry to see frankenstein score a cheap empty netter. he's a dirt bag.

but at least i was able to see the fat, sloppy, ugly, hillbilly chicks jumping up and down after igor's goal. remind me never to stop in atlanta.

onto florida to pickup some points.
