Despite Florida's lead, we're playing well and with a lot of energy. Here comes our second PP opportunity... eventually, we'll score on one of these.

And as I write, PP goal.... could it be, SATAN???

Grebs gets one of the assists.

They're calling it a "mild" concussion and saying he's day-to-day. But you're right, you never know with those things. I'm praying he's back on Sunday. Anyone know if he has a history with concussions?

I got a mini concussion, i was fine after that and was able to do sports activites day after...So lets hope its just very minimal.

York in recent years has only had a broken wrist and broken finger according to my research.

3-1 Tampa over Phili at the end of the first.

Glad to hear that's his first concussion. I think they become more of a problem after an athlete has had a few.

Great save by DP to keep this 1-1. Otherwise, the second period has been kinda dull.

Hunter just made a solid defensive play on the PP to prevent a short handed breakaway for FLA.

Excellent play by Bouchard to sweep the puck from Horton on a breakaway, followed by a sweet save by DP...

Isles a little low on energy in the second.
Panthers are getting some good chances.
Got to pick it up and put them away.

Has anyone else noticed that since the speed of this team has increased, the tempo of all the players has increased Jason Blake has faded into the obilivion? His passing or lack thereof is getting to be upsetting, as this guy thinks he is Al Macinnis on the power play. Secondly enough of that skating around and turn around shot in the offensive zone, and sweet dive.

He is one of those good players on a bad team, which translates to a selfish player who is more concerned about making the highlight reel then seeing his team win

The Islanders really should have traded him at the break when his value was at such a high

Sadly he will probabaly be with this team for a while(because he is still a fan favorite) and be a partial cancer along with Alexei Yashin(I think Blake is worse)

Shaw has got to fire them up in the 3rd. The 2nd was ugly.

The Islanders look like they are tired out there the second period. Hopefully we can pick up points though.
