Cujo's Start Moved up

Could be a sign that something may be happening. But the Wings have changed the date Cujo is going to start.

he was schedule to dress Thursday in Nashville. But instead will Dress Wednesday, at Home against St. Louis Per ESPN.

A bit shocking. It would of made much more sense to start Cujo on the road, instead of at home. Espeically against a team like St. Louis, i assumed had Hasek's name written all over it.

interesting

*EDIT* I put this in trade rumors, because of the obvious implications Cujo has right now.

What better way to showcase CUJO's comeback from injury on ESPN....

Teams will be licking their chops...

Or will they?

And against a better team.

Or maybe the Blues are _this close, and they'd hate to lose to their future starter.

Or maybe nothing.

What a bad move by Detroit.
St-Louis has a good offence and Joseph is still not 100% ready for high NHL action. I am not taking away from Nashville's play, but if they want to trade him to someone, he has to impress.
Now I could be wrong.
If he does well, I will regret what I just said because he would impress more by performing well against the Blues.
The truth will be spoken on Wednesday night.

I agree 100%, which lead me to believe that perhaps a possible Destination wants to see him play now.

Hmm.. Detroit has totally owned St. Louis for a while now, but they are division rivals. I guess this can go down two ways, Cujo gets lit up because he's rusty or Cujo plays out of his mind because he wants to prove that teams made a mistake letting him go unpicked in the waiver draft.

I like it, ballsy move.

The Wings may be playing two angles here

1.they may figure that Cujo who always seems to bring his A game against the Blues will do so again.

2. Even though I hate to admit it you guys have owned us in recent seasons and we have a somewhat depleated lineup.

I could have totally misread your post and if I did Sorry. But if you are implying that the Wings are showcasing Cujo for a possible trade back to Stl. I just dont see that happening.

He'll face more shots against St.Louis. Last year from memory, it was the periods where he faced 4 or 5 or less shots where he was letting in softies ... at least St.louis is good for close to half a shot per minute ... that should keep him focused!!!
