And the problem is that some people actually take what these guys say for cash and in the next game in Montreal they are probably going to boo him.
Like Theo said ; Only Red Fischer has that power . If 110% had any influence no one would have booed Theo.

Lack of intensity is the usual reason for booing. Higgins, Begin, Plek, Koivu and some others even when they're not producing goals (assists don't count for some reason) play with enough intensity to avoid it.
Kovalev is more likely to get booed because he often lacks intensity but he continues to produce.

Only in montreal do Journalist make a hole ordeal about a center ice meeting. I mean comon this is geting out of hand. Any other freaking club that would make a center ice meeting would go unnotice.

AS for the 110% morons, they have no credibility what so ever. They insult the fans for being to hard on french canadiens mean wile there bashing euros like theres no tomorow. Were not the only place who boo the locols. When things dont go well in leaf land they boo.

Personaly if I was koivu I would of never signed the 3 year deal. The guy loves to play here and yet people bash him and bash him and bash him. The way hes getting treated by the media world in Montreal, I would of been long gone.
Montreal is by far one of the worse place to play hockey in when things are bad.

It's also the best place to play when you win. It's the same for all the huge markets in all sports. I'm sure it wasn't easy to play for the Red Sox all the years they lost to the Yankees.

How do those ******** stay on TV? Such loyalty they have to "their team". Who gives a flying furball about language. That's so minor in a TEAM SPORT.
I've never seen the show, and how thankful I am.

If people STOPPED buying the gazette or "La Presse" (sorry for using some french here on an HF board) or STOPPED listening to sports shows, then maybe a center ice reunion wouldn't be covered by all those medias.

If the buffoons on 110% had their way, the Habs would draft only pur laines and the team would stink for a decade (lanolin reeks) unless they sobered up. Why? Because other teams would still be free to pluck prospects like Lemieux and Lafleur while the locked-in Habs would miss out on all the talented Americans, Russians, and other Europeans. Such a strategy didn't work out in the past. Among the, ahem, notable Québécois first round choices from the mid-1970s were such notables (this is an inclusive list, not skipping over an single Québécois first rounder in that span) as Danny Geoffrion, Gilbert Delorme, Alain Heroux, Jose Charbonneau, Eric Charron, and Eric Chouinard. Moreover, the Habs traded Chris Chelios to get a fading Denis Savard!

You missed Le Journal de Montréal. The Gazette, being an English language newspaper, isn't widely read in some neihborhoods.

Quick reply: Chelios was traded by Corey (like Carbonneau), because he didn't behave like Corey wanted his players to behave outside the rink... I am not sure it was planned.

from my sources , it seems that Koivu was asking to the players if they wanted meat balls sauce or Bolonese sauce , for the spaghettis ...
