i agree, yes were all talking out of anger, but the habs stink, theyre rotten, and ne mofo who comes and tells me im nto a habs fan and all that, they can go shove it, cuz this sint a team, this is a failure and a dissapointment
Hopefully this was just a case of looking forward to the upcoming games against Toronto. The offensive charge in the third couldn't make up for the defensive gaffes that were made throughout the game. Although the game winner was a bit of a fluke, the Isles had way too many odd man rushes. This team just doesn't have the offensive ability to make up for a lackluster defensive effort.
Wonderful. So for the 4th time in 6 games, Montreal scores just 1 goal and once again it's on the PP. Haley's Comet seems to come more often than a Habs 5-on-5 goal. The door is open for T.O. Can't you just see it now? I know I don't want to, but I can see it. Habs outshooting and outchancing the Leafs, Telqvist standing on his head, refs doling out heaps of PP's to Toronto, fluky goals, Leaf nation cheering and mocking our fans in their own building, TSN and/or CBC drooling over Toronto's play while ignoring us (even if we win, this might be the case). They would still need to keep us from any OT games to make it close, but the Leafs have it in them right now even if it is a road game which they've typically lost these days. But hey, it's Montreal, it's us, we don't even scare a junior team. There hasn't been a Hab team with balls since the early 90s. Now the Leafs have played some bad games at the Bell Centre and yet they still do well and aren't intimidated by our building. I know this team is headed in the right direction, but I've yet to see it and I'm still waiting for the rewards of patience.
