Hey guys, just had a question...

Is Markov's injury a re-aggravation of what he had last week, or is it something new? Any insight is appreciated.

Thanks.

Gotta try that sometime.

As far as we know, it's the same injury. Gainey may just be resting him for the second game in 2 nights as he was looking tired out there yesterday.

At this rate the Habs will have to kill the Leafs themselves, and that's always iffy the way those games are officiated...

Carolina's been losing a lot more than usual lately, though I bet they could still murder us if we had any games left. Anyway, even if Toronto wins and we do, 5 pts. is a good cushion to have. That being said, Habs-Leafs games are always iffy, that's true. But consider the Leafs bad road record. They'll be in tough, really. They're much better at home lately and overall have played their best hockey there. That's why Carolina is having such a tough time. I wonder how many 5-on-3's the Leafs will get in this game, though?

That sounds like the Huet we've come to know and love. And the recent Koivu we've come to dread, yuck. At least it's 2-0 for both Boston over Atlanta and Philly over New Jersey.

Thanks for the replies guys.

Belfour's back is acting up. He hasn't been on skates for a couple of weeks now, and it doesn't sound like he will be any time soon.

Many Leafs fans see this as a blessing in disguise as we are going exclusively with Tellqvist, who has been the better goalie this year.

Hey... When's the last breakaway we've had? I don't know if there were any against Carolina but I'm sure we haven't had one since the game in Boston from almost 2 weeks ago. We seem to do ok on breakaways this season, though we don't get a lot of them.
