Maybe "Devil Boy" can provide some spark to our team against St.Louis?

I would love to see him get a goal against Osgood.

That may mean bad news on AJ. I haven't heard any updates on him, anyone else?

I posted this on the other boards but I'm going to move it here, so I can get a point of view from people who actually know hockey and not someone telling me that Tootoo is all that matters or that Upshall is too cute or that Tootoo should be playing on the top line and the top defensive pairing...

Is AJ healthy? If so here's what I'd love to see.

Top line stays the same
AJ-Legwand-Walker
Teen line reunites
Hartnell-Murray-Hall
Vowell line gets a make over
Erat Johnson Orszagh
Grind line Specialty
Tootoo-Upshall-Stevenson

Hamhuis joins Kimmo on the top defensive pairing
Kloucek and Zidlicky are next
Brookbank and Eaton round out the defense as Jason York watches.

That's the way I'd like it, but more than likely it won't happen.

I'm think AJ will not play the next game. That hit on him was just a monster. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if he has a concussion.

Triggrman - does that mean I can't swoon and scream how cute Upshall really is? Drat! There goes the reason for my whole existence.

Now to the serious stuff. I love your line up but I don't think AJ will be ready to play. As much as I love the boy's ability for putting the puck in the net, I think he's too injury prone.

I'm also in favor of sitting Arky. My gut is screaming that he had better step up big or he'll be traded.

Just my $.02.

Notice there's no FLO, FGO threds here? Other things you won't see here as much. "Legwand sucks", "We should trade for Lindros", "The sky is falling" or "Hey carrot top it's blonde" threads.

I agree, we talked about this over the summer, we all hoping Shishkanov is everything we've heard he is and we're also hoping he moves up in a hurry, especially is AJ is hurt yet again.

Patty after reading that, I'm afraid you might take it wrong. It's all tongue in cheek, really I'm glad you're here, I'm just pointing out the differences between the boards. Anyway, Welcome to HF.

2 for roughing in the Dallas game.
2 for high sticking in the St. Louis game...also a 5 for fighting

Looks like AJ is out so Upshall will take his spot, they said they recalled hiim because of his offensive role, isn't that a slap in the face to Erat?

Sounds like Erat's about to get back in the line up

"'I'm not unhappy with Martin,'' Trotz said. ''We've been using seven defensemen a lot, so I've asked him to bide his time until he gets an opportunity, and when he does, to play well enough that I can't take him out of the lineup. He's in a role similar to a lot of guys on our team in that he can play on the fourth, third or second lines, so he'll get his opportunity.''

So Trotz is saying he can play anywhere but the top line but Upshall is recalled to play on the top line?

Looks like one defenseman may sit tonight. I hope it's york and not Brookbank, this is St. Louis afterall.

if we're going to continually misuse erat(as a checking line wing) we might as well package him and get something in return. this is a waste, and i'm not even really a fan of his.

I am a fan of Erat's, and I couldn't agree more. 5 minutes on the checking line isn't going to cut it.
