Up until tonight, Rinne's SV% was some insane number like .950. Without him catching fire I doubt they're in the Final Four. But yeah, provided he's still solid and Nashville's offence stays at a 3-goal pace, they could pull this off (though I predicted Anaheim as the Cup winner this year).

Post game interview, Johansen going off about Kesler. It's only G2 & Kesler's already in his head. Not a good sign. We'll see if Johansen can battle through that or if he's just going to get more & more frustrated.

It's what Kesler does best

Kesler is such a dirty player, and the refs just let him do his thing:

Looks like a scene from the movie 300.

Yeah, I'd like to see another angle too. Hard to call that a "vicious elbow" from this angle.

Rinne has been able to give 1 or 2 softies a game this entire playoffs. Tonight he stunk. But it's a team game. Nashville isn't scoring 1.88 GPG. Gibson is a gong show. Rinne can play a lot better then he did tonight. This is why goalies don't receive their rank based on playoff performance alone.

Johansen boo hoo.

Just play hockey, if you want to figure skate change sports. He should take it as a compliment that they are actually concerned with him.

I haven't been too impressed with Johansen this playoffs. He needs to step it up a bit.

Evgeni Malkin used to always complain about the Flyers playing dirty.

Still dominated them.

Used to. He is now a pretty dirty player himself. He doesn't shy away from the rough stuff.
Johansen will just keep complaining. He got his ass handed to him by Sam Bennett this year. Maybe that's why he doesn't drop them with Kesler

Two close games so far, this is going to be a close series between two great teams.
