Malkhov is a great comparison.

Hopefully Sergachev reaches his potential and isnt a lazy player like Malakhov

Great game for habs prospects

Sergachev with 2 assists
Addison with a goal
Bourque with an assist and 5 shots on goal

I don't know, I've always seen him more as a '' no effort wasted'' type than lazy per se, in the Weber/Markov mold in a sense. Lindstrom was a bit like that too, he never wasted any energy, he made 90% of his plays just with positioning and stick work, you could have easily mistaken him for a lazy player. Yet he's probably the best D man I ever saw.

Splitfires totally dominated the play until Seadogs scored 1 and rally at the end, but it still was a very impressive showing, almost AHL level paced.. Personally Im not surprised they won, they have a very good team that lost in 7 against London, that lost in 7 against Erie.. That Conference was crazy good with Owen Sound and Sault Ste-Marie, the 5 best teams of the western conference ended with more pts than the first of the Eastern, seriously any of those teams probably would have given St-johns a hard time if they were playing in the Q.. The OHL was easily the best league of the 3 again this year.. I think if Brown was playing like a 11th pick, Windsor would have beaten London and who knows after that..

Considering that Chabot is 1 year and a half older than Serge, I was not really impressed by him out there tonight.

I didn't see the game, but I'll take your word for it. I am always impressed with Chabot when I watch him.

I had a feeling Serg would have a good tournament. He looked like a guy who needed a break to me. I'm not a fan of 18/19 year olds playing 80-90 game schedules anyways. Getting eliminated early from the playoffs is a blessing: he gets a long off-season and some extra hockey.

If any of you guys tune in to any of the games featuring Seattle keep an eye on Jarret Tyszka. Incredibly solid defenseman who never gives up and is pretty much a jack of all trades. Some of the best hockey IQ in the Dub.

Based on last night game, for sure. Chabot did try to do too much. And Sergie played an overall better game than him. But thank god that our full evaluation isn't solely based on 1 game. Or even 1 tournament for that matter.

But yeah, I loved Sergie's game last night.

He's in my players to watch for this upcoming draft. He is 2nd round material for me. We will see how he does in this tournament to confirm my 2nd round position or if I put him high 3rd.

Hopefully St. John builds on their 3rd period. Still confident they will win this thing.

They played the worst I've seen them play in at least 15ish times this year....and still managed to lose 3-2. You have to think that even a slight upgrade will put them right back to contending.

That's my thinking as well. Missed on some good chances too.

Erie has one hell of an offense. They've got playmakers on pretty much every line.

Stankowski is standing on his head keeping Seattle in it somehow.

Nobody is putting on pounds more than Jeff O'Neill.....saw him at the Sens game a few days ago.....he's got to be at least 260lbs. Huge huge gut on him, I mean enormous!!
