Proposal MTL-NYR

what about :
to NYR: Nikla Sundström
&
to MTL: Marcus Jonasen

why?: Montreal is loaded in offense right now... they need to get rid of somebody ..and sundström IMO is the best asset we got for dumping...
+ mtl get stronger with a potential power-forward..

NYR: Sunny would be great with holik .. and maybe he will tell us why he's has been drafted 8th overall by NYR..

so what you guys think?

It's not awful. But I would not do it from the Ranger POV

The Rangers could use Sunny to play with Holik. However, Jonasen is a really intriguing prospect; something the Rangers don't have enough of. Since coming over, he has played well with Tri-City. He looks like he could become a real sleeper pick.

Which is exactly why they'd trade him now for a quick fix.. Like they do with basically all their youth

Yeah, but normally they get some 100% useless players back. And as mentioned above, Sunny wouldn't be that useless...

You see, it's completely unrealistic. :p

its certainly possible, but i think you will find most ranger fans here would prefer to keep the kid even if he is a sleeper.
That isn't to say that sundstrom wouldn't be welcomed back to the garden with open arms (cause he would)
just not sure that deal makes sense...

Perhaps for a draft pick... or I know habs need size up front. How about Chris Simon ? j/k

Basically my feelings on it but it would definitely be the type of trade the Rangers would do.
