Antoine is pretty articulate, feels good to hear a French Canadian that can talk like a normal human being haha.

Getzlaf impressed all night.

Didn't notice Perry much all night but he was bringing it in ot.

I don't blame both goaltenders for being upset. When the refs put away the whistle in ot, they pay the price.

Neither of these two teams will go down easily.

I love PK, but that goal was on him mostly due to the clearing attempt. The tip was unlucky but avoidable. Not sure why he tried to stop it there though -- dangerous play, and ended up in the back of his net.

Overall he had a solid game. Happens. Still, it's not like he's perfect. Preds will still win the Cup IMO, and I'll be happy for PK. That doesn't take anything away from the current Habs team, but it would be an F U to management, which I do support.

As for Forsberg over Galchenyuk, do we hate all our players? Is there some combo that we need to go with? Love PK and hate Weber + Chucky? Forsberg was always gonna be good. Galchenyuk has shown us what he can do and it's definitely enough. Let him recover from his injury ffs. Julien will help him. People are digging themselves into entrenched views that they'll have a hard time cognitively digging themselves out of when Chucky has a great season, and playoffs next year. I'm very confident about him. I'm not so confident about Pacioretty, which is more worrisome.

Well said. If Patches goes to another team and actually starts scoring, the narrative changes from "He's a bum and all his problems are his fault" to "We're idiots who didn't know how to use him or surround him well." If we had Forsberg I'm sure some would've been ready to jump off the roof when he started the season so poor this year.

Temporarily closing this to clean it up. Cut the crap.

Keep it civil.

Exactly. I also shudder to think of how Forsberg's talent would have been handled under MT. Galchenyuk was tearing it up for two whole months, not just October. He came back fairly late, and never looked healed. You switch both players on NSH and MTL, we would be kicking ourselves for not picking Galchenyuk. They're both terrific players. Their respective environments have had a huge effect. Still, Chucky will be fine.

As a coach, I would freak if I was Laviolette. Lol get your stick out of the lane from that angle and take the man. Either way, he started the comeback and he's played very well.

I think as hockey fans we should just enjoy what we're seeing here.

Great series here and in the east. Lots of unexpected turns and it's fun to watch.

Subban hater or lover, it's some tense hockey games. Entertaining hockey is good stuff.

Ducks deserved to win. If they play that way for the rest of the games the series is theirs. Crappy to see the puck deflected off of PK's stick but them's the breaks. Ducks dominated tonight.

Nashville really lost when they didn't score on the 5-3 that should have been game over.

Odd. I figured they lost when Anaheim scored in OT and they didn't.

It's crazy how all it takes is 2 bad bounces and you can lose. That's what great about hockey so unpredictable. Puck hops over Ekholm stick then PK heads to the net to cover 2 guys only to be the unlucky one of tipping it in.

Anyways Ducks deserved that game. Preds need some secondary scoring going or this series is going in the Ducks favor.

So wish Forsberg could have snuck that one in short side in OT, there was an opening I definitley thought he had it.

Let's go Habs let's go PK let's go Preds!
