He was able to play for the Admirals after the relapse..... The relapse happened before Christmas.

This really sucks. Any idea how he sustained the injury? Did Kesler sneak a switchblade onto the ice and slice the artery in his leg open?

Can Josi play Center?

If it were in the 2nd, how did he play the rest of the game? I'm thinking it had to be in OT, especially considering the emergency surgery.

It's not uncommon to finish a game injured. That certainly matches the description. His left leg slams into the boards.

Finishing a game injured is one thing, but waiting that long to have what they are calling emergency surgery I question.

This is brutal.

Slide Jarnkrok up. If Fisher can play, reunite the second line. Put sissons as third line center. Fiddler on the fourth. This is okay, but it is reliant on Forsberg/Arvidsson playing well. We could really use Smith back in this lineup.

If Fisher is out, you have to put Kamenev in this lineup.

Everything and everyone has to now get going at the same time. Forsberg, Arvy, and Neal are doing their part - the pressure is now on Hook and Wilson. If these two can get going, we're not dead yet.

Worst possible player to lose; just a nightmare with Fisher likely out as well. Agree with the person above who asked if Josi can play C.

Awful news. The only positive is that boys will basically be forced to give their absolute all. I just hope they don't try to beat the Ducks at their own game.. there's no way they'll win that way. Gotta kill them with speed and skill.

Wilson has played center before. If Smith can get back in the lineup we can put forth an effort. It would be extremely satisfying for us to beat the Ducks with a depleted makeshift lineup.

Can Dennis K. Morgan center? I heard we have him under contract and he's upset by his lack of ice time.

At least they're local. But that was a tad bit embarrassing.

Well, it was a hell of a postseason either way. I don't think there's much of a chance at all they can win without him. The 2nd and third line center have combined for ONE non empty net point all postseason. Fix the 2C in the offseason and get back at it next year.

**** it. We've been a one line team all postseason. I say put Forsberg at center between Arvidsson and Neal, at least we might get a goal or two. Jarnkrok and Fisher have just been a drag on Neal all playoffs anyway.
