Go ahead and suspend him. Will probably just motivate him more.

At what Kovalev got hit with a small high stick, are people blind. At least Tucker in the media interview after word didn't whine about the cheap shot.

Hope that video shows Tucker laying a fat right hand on Kovalev and Tucker busting the rest of that crooked nose

Their I fixed it for ya and you forgot one part, when Kovalev begins running in fear and takes two right hands form Tucker and seeing the apparent beating that would have happened Habs players save his butt

could this be the beginning of the kovalev army?

i think thrashers and the kovalchuk army are also enemies of trawnna and tucker.

avatar of kovalev's hit on tucker could be like the kovalchuk pointing avatar.

Like the other thread, I don't see this one going anywhere. Obviously Habs fans will say something pro-Kovalev, and Leafs fans will say something anti-Kovalev. That's it. Just a bunch of bickering like a couple fat old ladies at a bridge game.

You people must be deaf and blind, not only did the commentators say Kovalev was hit with a high stick, Kovalev even grimaced when the stick hit him not the elbow. The stick barely grazed him and a case could be made that he intentionally was eying Tucker when he had the puck at the beginning of the zone but also intentionally lost the puck to elbow Tucker. Well deserving of a suspension

It looked like a charge.

If we were playing basketball.

---------------------------------------------

Seriously, looks to me like a forearm to the face. I don't think it's an elbow.

Can a player get called for charging if he has the puck? Kovalev left his feet a tiny bit just before the hit.

EDIT: I changed my mind. Frame for frame, the elbow makes contact.

What I love about the whole clip is that Kovalev is skilled enough to figure out who hit him, get control of the puck, skate through the zone trying to find Tucker, and lay him out without reliquishing control of the puck until the moment of impact.

A highly skilled cheapshot.

What goes around comes around and Tucker got what he deserved. He tried the same thing on Kovy a few seconds earlier, Kovy nailed him with a fantastic shot.

Nobody's crying of Darcy being decked, he got what was coming to him.

So did Steve Moore right . Comparing a small grimace of a high stick to a blatant elbow just shows your ignornace. I bet if a guy like Wade Belak did that to Saku Koivu, Canadians fans would have been pissing themselves with rage

I have to face facts that on this board if Tucker ended up getting paralyzed by a hit into the boards many would enjoy it. Your all disgusting human beings in my opinion
