Comparing this to the Bertuzzi/Moore incident in anyway is pathetic.

1. Bertuzzi "protected" his teammate a few weeks later.
2. Tucker saw Kovalev coming.

Anyway, this was clearly not an elbow but a highly effective Bundy Forearm Shiver. Kovalev spent a few years at Polk High before he joined Dynamo.
