Im loving the way Higgins is playing, but what worries me, is that this may just be a hot streak. Is this the true Higgins? That i am still unsure of.
In any even, hes still atleast a very good thrid liner in the nhl, so he wouldnt be a total loss, does he not pan out as a scorer.
Why not try it this way.
I'am not liking Corey Urquhart, but what worries me is that he may just be on a bad steek. Is this the true Urquhart? I'am just not sure.
In any case, he is still playing bad and if he is a bust I called it right.
So I am realy torn and unsure about him if he does pan out as a top scorer.
Since the beginning of the year it was evident that he had all the tools. The problem was, like a lot of rookies on the team, his talents and confidence were supressed under Julien and Green. I think that Gainey's smartest line move was putting Higgins with Koivu. We were all a little baffled at Koivu's goal production, but he was able to accomplish so much as a leader when it comes to higgins. Higgins himself stated that playing with Koivu has been the highlight of his career and this is why Koivu is captain. This is something Higgins never would have gotten with any other player on the team.Gainey is no fool, he knows what he has in Higgins and he knows what values as a leader Koivu can instill in him. I say Higgins is the next captain of this team without a doubt. Chipchura will be a great addition to the leadership team as well, but I think Higgins is being groomed. And he should be...
