The Islanders and Devils are our ticket to first place in the Atlantic Division.

Yea we have an easier schedual. Dont play anyone harder than Buffalo I believe. And i think we win that after what happend last time.

Big game for you guys tonight against those same Sabres...scary fast team but they are in a slump

The Devils are fighting for their playoff lives and those last 3 spots are all reachable by the 9th place team. I wouldn't call that easy at all.

I definitely like Philly's schedule better. Whatever, after the last 7 seasons, I am not in a spot to complain with the Rangers having a 90-100 plus point season.

i just dont want to play buffalo away in the first round. id rather be 6th than 5th so in case we dont win the division im rooting for tampa bay to overtake us. we have a better shot at beating the flyers in the playoffs then the sabres in my opinion.

Any team making the playoffs...

will be tough and can turn things on in the playoffs. There's no cake walk.

Which is why I'm particularly bummed about this recent decline in performance. Now's just not the time for the machine to wear down. Will this team have the gas to take it to the next level?

yeah but the flyers always seem to struggle against the devils, who they play 3 times, and we have them twice. The good thing is the Devs will be in a dogfight for 6th, 7th or 8th, and they have been sliding...at least they will be meaningful games for them against Philly...

As for the ice-landers, I think the season is done for them, with TO not far behind. Yes we have OTT twice, but we also have the Ice-landers 3 times and Boston and Pittsburgh, who we've played well against this year...

That is no longer the case. We have handled the Devils quite well recently, losing just 2 of our last 13.

Atlantic Division

While I would love the Rangers to win the Atlantic, the Flyers recently seemed to wake up. I think the world of this current Ranger team, but the pessisism that kept me from throwing the TV out the window the last 7 years is telling me for the Rangers to get ready to play Buffalo. Truth be told, of all the teams in the East, Buffalo scares me the most.

I wasn't stating that we have been struggling again the Devs, I was saying the Flyers seem to have problems with NJ...
