OT: Recruiting Ranger Fans

Please don't move this thread to the fantasy board.

I just wanted to give all my fellow Ranger fans a chance to claim two teams in my fantasy league.

http://www.nfhl.org

I am the Anaheim Mighty Ducks in the league and the Commish. I have two openings -- one in New Jersey for the Devils and one in Toronto for the Maple Leafs. If any ofyou are interested, it's a keeper league and scoring is very much like the NHL. If you have any questions you can pm me your email.

Thanks guys.

Mu

it's a keeper league, meaning that there's a cap and a 2006 draft and a next season?

What do we do as GMs?

You do everything Glen Sather can do. Sign free agents, draft with your picks, trade, send down, call up, waive playrs -- basically it's like playing EHM but in a person to person environment. There are also guideliens right on the site you can look over to gauge the rules.

As commish I oversee signings, free agency, trades, etc to keep the integrity of the league intact. It's the best fantasy hockey league out there and I'm proud to say that.

If no one took it already, I'll be the Leafs. I'll figure out how it works.

No one took New Jersey yet. BC77 and SML are interested.

There may be other openings in the not too distant future and if anyone wants to be put on the waiting list (which has had 5-10 people on it at one time) I'd be happy to have someone in line to step right in.

If BC77 really wants it, let him play. If not, I'm in.

You're the first one that has given me an answer. Please PM me your email and AIM name and actual full name (you need AIM for the draft, trading (it helps) and other league functions).

Thanks guys! I'm grateful for the help. I know you'll have a lot of fun running your franchises. If anyone else wants to be put on a waiting list let me know. There is some turnover from time to time.

I too would like to be on the waiting list. By the way you mentioned we can sign free agents. How do we do that? Won't the contracts be based on real life?

All added to the waiting list, pm your email, name, and AIM names and I'll contact you when there is an opening.

As for contracts, you send in an offer and a committe votes on who that player signs with and how much compensation he'll accept. That way it's democratic in nature and not totaltarian

No we use our own formula to tally the games. It's a keeper league so what occurs in the NHL is of great importance. There is NO simulation at all.

What's EHM? Is that a serious question? If it is I'd be happy to answer, but no need to type everything if you're pulling my chain.
