Unless we trade Price, Pacioretty and Weber, I highly doubt we can get Dahlin.

He might be a mystery box for us, but I imagine the FO has a better idea since they have more information.

Give Galchenyuk 2 defensively strong wingers, give Danault skilled wingers.

Pacioretty - Danault - Drouin
Lekhonen - Galchenyuk - Gallagher
Byron - Plekanec - Shaw
Hudon - Mitchell - McCarron

So a 40 point winger who is responsible is just not gonna play?

Not a bad idea...I'd give it a try.

Pacioretty Danault Drouin
Byron Galchenyuk Hemsky
Lehkonen Plekanec Gallagher
Hudon Mitchell DLR/Shaw

McCarron in the AHL for one more year of development unless he can clearly beat out Mitchell. Hudon and De la Rose should get a shot before being put on waivers.

I really don't want Shaw to be ahead of anybody in the top 9, or on the 4th line with the contract he has. We really need to trade him.

Bergevin thinks Danault can be a number one center. No way they demote him to the 4th line.

One thing we must keep in mind : No 6 weeks stretch where the players tuned off to head coach.

Byron-Plekanec-Hemsky
Hudon-Danault-Shaw

Jerabek-Weber
Alzner-Petry
Schlemko-Benn

I predict Hemsky will still be a good player, if he's healthy.

But that's a big if.

we got 8 wingers who can have a decent production, as much as i hate the center depth, that pretty nice to have.

Good point..........but as the season rolls on, we need a C man for the playoffs...our depth at C will not cut it, in the playoffs...

This Habs' mediocre lineup will produce mediocre results.

Still a mystery box for them too. No one knows how he will adapt to smaller ice and tougher competition.

Patch / Danault / Gallagher
Hudon / Drouin / Galchenyuk
Lehkonen / Pleky / Shaw
Byron / Mitchell / Hemsky
DLR
Martinsen

So do I, but I see Mitchell losing his spot at some point. We'll probably see an impact player added as well nearing the TDL, just a gut feeling as I think with Price healthy and Julien we'll have a nice season.
