Fix the 'peepee'...

The 'Nucks powerplay (peepee as King calls it) is broken and needs fixin'.

What needs to be done to make it more successful?

Here's Bertuzzi's comments on the matter:

nothing!

the success of our PP is directly impacted by the success of our #1 line - and our top line will turn it's game around soon enough.

Bertuzzi's contract is now done, and he should *hopefully* get his game on track, which will help both Naslund and Morrison (who btw has been playing pretty good so far IMO).

The PP was getting tons of chances early... it didn't pay off for them, and it affected their confidence... but it'll get back on track.

I don't see the need to be messing with it... the same plays were great last season, and have still broughts tons of good chances this season... just have to wait for the confidence to kick in - and it will - and the PP will turn around.

after the lack of success in the last game though, I wouldn't be surprised if Crow went back to Mo at the point and Henrik down low, like he did last season.... putting Linden on the 2nd unit in Henrik's place.

I think Bertuzzi's right. Its too predictable. Last season in the playoffs we threw in a twist that helped get the PP going during the playoffs by putting in front of the net. By moving Bertuzzi to one side of the net it created a decoy which allowed Jovo to become open. Can't do that all the time but by changing things up a bit can create other options. I also wonder if Henrik should replace Morrrison on the first unit. I think he's the better playmaker.

Here's a solution: keep it simple. Get back to basics, stop being cute, and get the puck on net. That's how you get your powerplay out of a rut.

Bertuzzi isn't driving to the net anymore, he's hardly ever in front nowadays.

Remember the Ohlund goal ? Guess who was in front of Burke ?

That's also probably the worst article I've ever read, enough with the analogies
