Giguere got lit up by the Rangers last year, but I dont think that'll happen again. I'm gonna go with a 2-2 tie.

It all depends really on which Rangers take the ice tonight.

There's the hard working Rangers that normally come out during the games against the better teams in the league. Then theres the lazy ******* crap Rangers that like to show their heads against the teams in the NHL that on paper aren't supposed to be nearly as good as them.

So again, this could go either way since the Ducks went to game 7 of the Cup Finals last year, but have come out of the gate stumbling this year.

BTW- Rangers made the NHL.com front page for their win against the Wings, and are featured again tonight front page going against the Ducks. My only reason for pointing this out is becuase it's funny how we start to show just alittle bit of signs of turning this damn thing around, and NHL marketing grabs it and holds on for dear life. Not saying they "need" us, but I would think they certainly do want us to be big contenders again. Marketing, that is...front office could be a different story.

I guess right last time, hopefully it's not the case this game.

3-2 Ducks

Kovalev, Lundmark

Federov, Chistov, McDonald

Rangers win 2-0.
Dunham gets his 2nd shutout.
Poti and Hlavac score the goals.

I hate when people post predicted scores/goal scorers. Never seen anybody get it right. Waste of time if you ask me..... 4-4 tie. (Rangers: Mess,Kovie,Hlavac,Carter)/(Ducks: Federov, Prospel, Niedemeyer (2))

Although a Ranger Fan, I am in LA and have seen about half the Duck Games. They've been terrible for the most part this year. I think it is due to chemistry problems more than a finals hangover. The Carney injury is pretty significant as well.

Federov leads the team in scoring, but has been unimpressive IMO. I think the Rucchin, Neidermeyer, Prospal line has been the Ducks best. Rucchin is really a terrific player who does not get much exposure.

As far as young players go, Lupul has also been good at times, but has also been a healthy scratch. Chistov, who is really fun to watch, is having a tough year so far.

According to the LA Times, Gerber will start tonight - although that's not necessarily good news because JS has been shaky at times this year.

Prediction: 4-2 Rangers (Nedved, Messier (2), Lundmark) (Neidermeyer, Rucchin)

Once again Jar Jar you misconstrued my post and become defensive. Check my post history I posted maybe 400 times in my first 4 days. I probably averaged 10-20 posts in the last 3 weeks since I registered. I won't be sucked into your crap again so feel free to respond like a baby again, just don't expect a reply from me.

Who? What? When? Where? Ah...you talkin about the right score...but you did not get the right scorers amigo. No soup for you. Or were you talkin about the game you put all the * in to be safe. Then you're right you did predict el futuro.

Yep Jar Jar it is fun to be futile in guessing the almost unguessable (!?!?) Just makes me cringe when 90% of the fans predict wins for 90% of the season's games. I like to be optimistic but not so publically

Ditto...can't we all just act like grownups on here without dissolving good sports discussions into petty (and lame I might add) attempts to piss each other off.

oh and Theo Fleury SUCKS MY :moon: Best thing the Rangers did was get rid of that cancer

Somehow, I don't think Eric's gonna get too many points tonight.

What can you say about that friggin period of hockey. They outplayed the ducks all damn period. Dunham let in a softy although a tricky goal. At least four Rangers get hauled down yet no calls and Simon gets a penalty on a marginal call. With all the crap the refs have let go this year you can't tell me that was a penalty.

Oh and Mess and Kovie are flying out there.
