Does anyone know why we've had only have one shoulder patch since switching to the gold?

have we really been using the current jersey 6 years?

it sure doesn't seem like it.

Time flies. It was 2011-12 when it was introduced, so yes, it has. People were guessing that it was coming because all of the gold being pushed in the 2011 playoffs.

Blake Geoffrion was one of those who modeled it and I still wish I'd bought one of his jerseys. Got a shirt, though. Don't remember what they used as a reason for people to gather to see it unveiled, maybe draft?

Have we worn each primary jersey for six seasons then?

edit: No. I was thinking Reebok started after the missed season, but it didn't come out until 2007.

Quite like it to be honest. Would have liked the plectrum logo to be more prominent but it's good. Who wants laces in the 21st century?! Come on, a collars a collar. I'll be buying one when I have a spare 200+international shipping... which'll be never but I would if I did.

My first reaction was about the collar, but I see it is quite a large opening, not like a tshirt sized opening, which on further reflection, should have been obviously true.

My more thought out opinions are - overall ok. Not exciting. I certainly hope they have a fully embroidered shoulder patch and not the rubber patch that was previously used on replicas, but that is what appears to be used on the addidas on-ice version debut model (super cheap looking). Also the logo looks stranded. The blue should have been brought up to the level of the forearms and the logo should sit little higher on the chest.

This second picture looks much better. Still don't like the bit of yellow at the top of the collar, would prefer solid blue, but not a big deal. But overall, it looks better than in the Adidas presentation.

This isn't much different from the Reebok's. We lost the piping (which everyone wanted). Not sure why so much hate.

the neck looks too much like a crew neck t-shirt.

I didn't mind the piping, and something is needed to break up the bland background

as was already pointed out, looks way too much like the kids jerseys

The piping on the gold was okay, it was on the initial Reebok jersey that was terrible, that jersey looked like a t-shirt that was run over by the piping truck and slapped with a Preds logo.

The piping actually worked on the gold jersey. But I think with the cut of the Adidas jersey there really isn't a way to do piping. But there are other subtle elements that could improve it.

After seeing the jerseys on actual humans at the draft, they look just fine.

Exactly what I was expecting from some of the "T-shirt design" shouters. Not saying you were one of them, but It's hard to make a hockey jersey truly look like garbage.

I thought the same. The jerseys will look just fine on the ice next season.

I had a problem with the collar during the unveil, but the mannequin shots showed how large the opening was. My only remaining gripe is that shoulder patch better damn well be embroidered and not just the rubberized patch that Reebok used on the replicas.

I really like them the piping is gone, the collar could use some improvement but they looked good at the draft and development camp.

Okay, I guess I'll wear it.

Thinking of making mine a Johansen to go with my Jarny and Forsberg jerseys. It kind of sounds Swedish if you pronounce it incorrectly.

I need to see the road jersey .... but the odds are I will pick one up then get an alternate if the Preds are among the masses with one in 2018-19.

It really is quite odd that they have not revealed the roadies. Anxious to see them!

My guess is a new road design. Probably the current striping pattern, but with the rest of the upper arms being gold up to the shoulders, and the body being white. However, I would hope for the lower arm section to be gold and the upper arm to be blue.

After seeing it at the pro-shop display, I have no doubt that they will sell. They're not bad at all in person.

Be warned, the material is very thin and air flow seems to be top priority.

Looking forward to seeing the road version.

I wonder how they will hold up to pucks and scraps with that thinness? Will be interesting to see,
