The job he did for the Panthers broadcast the other night, he deserves to be chanted against 40 times per game. The guy is/was an idiot.

Don't EVER say poor Potvin again

Seriously don't. The guy was one of the meanest SOB's to lace up a pair...and he was an Islander. One of the key reasons I hate the Isles as much as I do. No matter how crappy the Isles are, a warm, special feeling is created whenever we beat these bums.

great effort tonight. if only Henke could have come away with the shutout and Jagr found the net once it would have been perfect.

Magic # is down to 5!

Good. Always great to beat on our friends from Long Island. Congrats to Jagr on becoming our all time single season point producer. And Henrik for his 30th win. Also sounds like Orr really laid a whipping on Godard. We still have other things to look forward to (hopefully) tonight. Jagr breaking Graves goal record and Prucha maybe hitting the 30 mark.

Also good to have a little cushion on our Philly friends.

I was very impressed with the line combo's that Renney had out there tonight, and would like for him to keep them exactly the same for tonights game. 4th line was good, and Strudwick over Tyutin was a nice call.(didn't know Struds could play left or right D)

What a great game to be at. The IHLander fan's faces were priceless, and the after party in the parking lot looked like we just one the cup.

Maybe it's early in the morning. Whats the Power Play Goal record for rookies? Wasn't Prucha close, or tied? Or did I dream that up?

You can't tell a pure goal scorer to stop looking to shoot the puck. I'd put alot of money on the stats of when Jagr has 10 shots on goal, we win...

He's a great passer as well, I understand that, but he doesn't score 40-55 goals per season without shooting the puck.

and does this annoy anyone else? Jagr wasn't selected as one of NHL.com's 3 stars of the night, despite getting 4 points. Straka got the first star, Brent Johnson the second by saving like 40 shots, and then Dumont gets the 3rd star for scoring 2 goals.

I dunno, I just always figured that when a guy gets 4 points and drives his teams offense, he should be one of those stars...sure they were assists and not goals but hell, they were good assists and straka doesn't get a hattrick without jagr feeding him.

and they did the same thing to him the last time he had a 4 point game

There was no Sweet Caroline singing last night. I stayed the whole game and didn't hear it once. Half the Rangers fans there probably haven't been to the Garden this year so they wouldn't know what it meant anyways. Oh well have fun in 1st and the playoffs. As you know the games changes in the playoffs w/ see how your boys react to the tighter play.

One player hooks, the other uses theatrics. Both are penalties, no?
