Simon T V3 Sim League needs a bunch of GMs.

I've made a post before, but since then there have been more openings.

That said, a good community, lots of core guys that have been around for 5-13 years that are still going strong, pretty active and fun league to be in. We do pride ourselves on having an active community and lots of trades.

our old site is at http://cmhlhockey.ca/, but hasn't been updated. We're currently working on a new site, which apparently is close to being done. That said, the rules are currently posted on the page which is what any new GM should look at.

Where we're at right now:
2nd round of the playoffs is wrapping up, getting our re-rates together. We use league re-rates, not based on NHL or pre-built re-rates done by someone else. Entry draft will be in late July, followed by free agency (where we use actual GMs to be agents). Lots of fun coming up.

Available teams:
Calgary -
Has been one of the top teams in the league for the past few years. There is no shortage of talent up front, but defense and goaltending could use some work. Prospect pool is decent but not great, and doesn't have any good picks in this draft
Key assets: Dylan Larkin, Joe Pavelski, Connor Brown, Rick Nash, Dan Hamhuis (very good in this league), Rickard Rakell,

Buffalo - Always in a fantastic spot, the GM before the most recent one built up a fantastic team with depth everywhere and no real weaknesses.
Key assets: Anze Kopitar, Jason Spezza (still one of the best), Roman Josi, Ryan Strome for all you Oilers fans, Travis Hamonic, Jimmy Howard is still one of the best, Leon Draisatl, Sebastian Aho, Urho Vaakinainen

Chicago - Needs work, goaltending has fallen off a cliff, wingers are bad, their defense is weak - only good assets they have are Johansen, Suter and Neal... plus all their picks
Key Assets - Elias Petterson

Colorado - This team is a trainwreck. Just finished last last year, very little prospects, lots of veterans, not many good ones though and very few draft picks. This could be a fun project for someone with patience.
Key assets: Markus Granlund, Sven Baertschi, Alex Debrincat, Brock Boeser, Nazem Kadri, Conor Sheary, Dion Phaneuf, Jared Spurgeon, Dylan Samberg. Not even kidding, that's the best they've got.

New Jersey - They need some tinkering to be truly competitive, a lot of veterans but not much youth coming. Do have their top pick at like 16 I think but thats really about it for future.
Key assets: Nick Suzuki, Jay Bouwmeester (one of the top defenseman in the league), Henrik Zetterberg (one of the best forwards in the league), Jake Voracek, Scott Darling (has become one of the top goalies in the league)

St Louis - They're in okay shape, with a lot of dynamic younger players about to hit their primes, good veterans along with some excellent prospects. They just need a GM to keep them on top of things.
Key Assets: Filip Forsberg, Patrick Kane, Vincent Trochek, Ryan Pulock, Dylan Strome, Josh Ho Sang, Tage Thompson, Vince Dunn, Lias Andersson

Hope some guys come join us, we'd love to have a bunch of new blood
If you have any questions, let me know. Either here or on the forum (Gerg, GM of the Flyers)
