So far the only pick I don't like is the overager, and that one i'm "unsure" of.

No Cederholm so far this year

We've finally drafted a German.

Our drafting is complete.

Love it!

Decent size, puck mover, will get lots of early exposure on German national teams.

Strong offensive numbers for a 5th round pick. Just a shade behind Pierre-Olivier Joseph (.59 points per game vs .63). Perhaps my favorite pick in terms of upside and value.

Where is GJF? I need to know if Leon is a common German name.

Now that the draft is all done. This was my favorite pick of the draft in terms of value to cost ratio. His season started off much better and he was scoring at a nearly .75 PPG at one point around 32-ish games into his season, he slowed down after that. Good upside pick

Just visiting your boards, but let me help you out.

Leon hasn't been overly common in Germany until the mid-90s.
But since the late-90s or at least since the mid-00s Leon has probably been the single most popular boy's name in Germany.

I really hope this Leon works out for you guys. You actually have a knack for drafting players I like, over the last few years.

Homesickness can lead to decline. Lived overseas for years. It gets tough after the first few months.

Trended down over the season but still a really good value pick for where we got him.

Also, adjustment to a tougher schedule. I remember when Spacek scored close to 1.5PPG during the first two months (I think) of his first season in NA (15-16), finished with 54P in 61G.

Full list is here.

Basically as far as I got in working on updates for Projproj this year due to life getting really busy the last couple months. The source list I used from Eliteprospects also added a bunch of overagers right at the end of the year so a bunch or random players ended up there with no good data points at the end haha.

Spacek had the same thing happen last year as well iirc, faded as the season went on.

Edit : whoops, mcpw already said the exact same thing. Should probably read the whole thread first.
