Pretty happy they invited Pastujov. He was really impressive at the WJC to me. Hopefully they give him a contract if he does well.

Not sure if you can sign non-CHL players. If it's possible and they sign him, he would have to go to Saginaw.

Castleman probably has the best chances to land a contact. Dvorak is an interesting invite, it's quite rare to see older Euros with national team experience at these camps. I wonder if this is sort of a "try-out" before they sign him?

Exactly, they could sign Pastujov, but he would no longer be eligible to play at University of Michigan next season.

I agree, would be awesome if they gave Castleman a contract.
I feel like he will be drafted by someone next season on his 2nd entry.

Forgot about Dominik Shine. He looked good with Grand Rapids this year in his 8 games he played. Wouldnt be surprised if he could make it as an energy guy in the NHL down the road

Maybe it's just me, but that seems like a really deep defense group for a development camp. Lots of guys to keep an eye on, certainly.

Chase Pearson is my favourite "hidden prospect" no one knows anything.

Based on just videos I saw last prospect camp. Big, lanky playmaker.

There's around 10 dmen there that are interesting

18 d-men is a lot for the scrimmages with just 2 teams. They had 11 D's total last year, but now they've got 11 draft picks and 2 UFA's even before any invitees.

I'm really excited to see what kind of coverage we get. I'm hoping we can get some in-depth stuff from The Athletic. Covering this sort of thing in greater detail would be an excellent way to win over the most hardcore of the Wings fanbase.

Looks like Lindstrom can maneuver himself on the ice quite well, looking forward to see what kind of player he'll turn into:

On a side note - i know the TC is great and all but man, it would sure be nice if once the new arena is done that they maybe rotate every year doing the prospect summer camp in Detroit vs TC. i cant make it up there, like im sure most cant either.. would be nice to attend some of these events once in a while.
